My R85 Dyno numbers

The KG parts R85 turbo kit. Steve Kan Tuned.
Stock reman, 3" exhaust with 2 muflers, Greddy 2 row FMIC, 1680s with 550s, Supra Fuel pump. I think that's all that's relative.

Curves look great to me, I am Satisfied with the results.

Interesting, what do you think is up with the torque? It should be near flat or rising til much later in the RPMs IMHO. Witha stock port motor, perhaps a smaller hotside is in order... GL, Carl

Actually I'm quite happy with the results. With this setup I right at the threashold of traction on street tires. Some colder (60F) nights I start to get wheelspin on full boost in 2nd gear, but other than that I can even floor it in first and not waste time spinning tires. I think if I upped the torque things would be different. Besides in the distant future I plan to go to a built motor with some high boost and get a little out of hand.

Small turbine A/R?
0.82 or something?

I don't think this is a 1.06 turbine A/R, right?

Those #'s look pretty good for a stock ported engine. Who needs dyno chart when my butt dyno is within 1%. j/k...

His chart shows anywhere from 16-17psi. You can see the boost curve on the second sheet.

Congratulations! I was actually contemplating purchasing this kit, but never recieved a response to an email I sent. It was probably very vague and annoying though, so I understand why. Good luck, and be safe.

its the scaling and shape of the graph that makes it look like the torque drops rapidly. that is a very good tune.

Sweet! Glad I could help out. I might do a couple more pulls to see if the boost spike had anything to do with the top end of the graph.

Why is there such a big spool up difference between max's car and apex's car? I tuned both myself. Weird.....

I just noticed that apex's car made alot of torque for the boost level he's running.

Does the KG parts car make more power because of the port, I see it makes power longer. What should the R85 make on a street port at 15 PSI?

Not sure, but I think the KG Parts car had an aftermarket intake manifold. Can anyone confirm or deny?

Yes the original sheet was using a street port and had a Jaytech intake.

We have a local guy with a streetport running at 22/23lbs of boost and trapping 133mph with the stock intake tuned by Dee. We have to get a video of the car running or on the dyno. Reason there is not any rush to make a video is because no matter what is posted, it is always questioned/picked apart.
