Motor Mods?
Ok, so ive decided to keep the rx7, but now i need to replace/rebuild the motor. Its a 88 TII with Hks manifold, to4b turbo, 3 inch exhaust, greddy fmic, 1000cc secondaries, nippon denso comp fuel pump, no emissions(all removed), manual steering rack, no a/c, koyo radiator, elect fan and a blown rear rotor. Im in the chicago area and am looking to have the motor rebuilt. Any recommendations on who to have rebuild in, i dont want to spend a fortune on a motor. Also, what modification should i be sure to have done, ive heard of using s5 endplate as it can handle more boost, what seals to use, etc. I am also going standalone, but which one. Ive heard really good things about the microtech, and can i scrap my entire stock harness with this? Any help and advice would be greatly appreciated, thanks to all.

Microtech is relatively easy to wire up and use. It doesn't offer as many options as other aftermarket EMS, but it's a good option to go if you wanna step into learning how to wire up a stand-alone and learn to tune.
For your motor, send a PM to RotaryResurrection on this board. S5 irons are a good idea, but unless you can find them used and you're planning to make over 450rwhp, I don't think it is necessary. However, if your irons are junk anyways, might as well.
