this is how she sits today. trying to finish off custom turbo manifold, and ic piping. what do you guys think of the duct work? also have to relocate isc as on the cosmo manifold theres no allocation. Custom fuel rail to hold 1600 injectors.

thanks guys. i should have her running by this friday ~fingers crossed~
A quick question - Anybody here tried making a custom overflow tank? I would like to relocate the oem unit to make it easier when i flush the coolant system. WOuld it matter if it's bigger in capacity or smaller compared to oem?
Thanks in advance.

updates. turbo, manifold, wastegate, exhaust is hooked up. things left to do-
1. intercooler piping and blow-off
2. omp line. i should have bought ready made lines considering the time its taken to finish this project. we've made custom braided lines but on the rear i'm having clearance issues so back to the machine shop it goes.
3. cooling mist.
4. relocating ait sensor and isc
5. custom coolant tank
6. finish installation of sound dampening material.
i never thought this was going to take so long.

i bought both the cosmo uim and lim. port matching fd housings was no biggie. the only thing which is very experimental is the relocation of isc. i'll post pics of isc with adpater which i hope will work.

looks good bro..
how hard is it to mount an 13b-RE in an FD?
it seems easy in an FC.. how about an FD?
or is it an FD motor with RE LIM+UIM?
how did u get the Greddy elbow on the RE TB? i heard it doesn't fit?

jacob - thanks dude.
this is an fd engine running re cosmo uim and lim. we pretty much had to customise a couple of things to match. the hardest part was port matching fd exhaust ports larger.
its an fd tb. i got pissed with messing around with an adaptor so we welded the extra bulge shut.

hi tahmid. the parts are looking very tarnished because of itchy fingers. Only update so far is that its finished. I took it for a drive and i must say its different driving a ported engine. We need now to install the boost controller, water injection and defi's to monitor vitals and off to the body shop for scoot hood and side skirts. I cannot wait for my RE front spoiler and diffuser.

Thanks thamid & fd3s4e. Update again as of today- i have to relocate custom overflow to front and ast to the back. the slight difference in height is not going well as for coolant flow.
Water temp at idle is 90C which is not what i usually see and when we checked flow, sure enough water was not being pushed back into overflow from ast.
Tahmid- U gotta come down here at take the car for a drive buddy!!
