Middle of the Road Single Turbo Conversion???

Ok. . .

I plan to piece on together for the simple idea of simplifying the craziness of the vacumn lines going on there.

I actually pick up the car either tomorrow or a week from tomorrow. . depends on how things go. There is a boost leak that makes the car fall on its face in 3rd gear so I was thinking it would probably be easier to troubleshoot a single turbo application that I installed verses the stock setup which i know nothing about. I have delt with several turbo systems from 4G63 setups to Mustang kits. All of which are single setups and not a sequential system.

I dont want to get really crazy with the motor in the car, I plan to do a few other things before I dip into that. I dont know if anyone knows of a good solution for a middle of the road single turbo conversion that uses a T4 flange with room for an turbo upgrade in the future.

:::Cliff Notes:::
My ideal setup would be either stock or slightly above stock HP produced by a single turbo setup. In the future when I go digging into new rotors,

Simplification is my goal. . .not uber HP. . .any suggestions? Any will be appreciated. . .thanks guys

convert the twins to run non-seq.

cheapest
least amount of time
still pretty simple and should boost a few ponies out.

search you'll find all the answers...my advice is go full out, don't do the poor man's. You'll shed some weight also.

iForged Rims.. . Hood. . Headlights (HID). . .Lambo Black paint job. . .Stereo. . etc. . .I am not looking for a full race car either. . .But. . after last night in town here. . I might need to just say **** it and go for an 88 or something because this one guy in my town has a incon WS6 TT that kills everyone. . except from a dig. . so. . .I have to deflate his head at some point. . but he is upgrading to the 1100HP capable kit soon. . so that sucks

Before anything else do you know what other mods are done to the car? You'll need a number of supporting mods to insure you can properly do the single turbo conversion.

Well. . .I picked her up on Saturday and the only mod is a Racing Beat exhaust and well even tho its really not a mod. . .ALL new vacumn lines.

But. . that night the smog pump bearings blew and took out my serpintine belt. I noticed it right away and shut her down. Yesterday we just custom fabbed up a bracket that saved me $300 apparently for the smog pump eliminator kit. haha

I'll have to start a thread somewhere and show some people. I have researched the single turbo conversion and I am aware of the extras. I may just wait for the winter whe the car gets painted to just pull the motor. . .and do a full rebuild.

Does everyone recommend MazdaTrix??? Really the only place I know well.
