miata rotary build update
well I kow this is a swap, but i thought I would share the single turbo set up
its a 13bt with a street port/ small bridge....1680 sec, 720 prim
Halteck ek6
rx7 na box
garret to4e
hardened apex seals
high comp s5 na rotors...so low boost...
home made rails
home made subframe
home made turbo mani
so much more

hope it works as i want it to....looking for at least 300hp to 375hp that would be great...plan on just 15 psi if i can tune it to avoid detonation

it is a 1992 miata....
i know the mani doesnt show it, The wastegate issue is my worst point in the build.....I couldnt get room to mount it anywhere else....what I had to revert to was open up both runners at the T4 flange so they share that area....so even though the outlet is only from the number one header pipe the exaust flow will be from both 1 and 2....kind of like a log style mani is...I am not sure of boost control accuracy yet..bubt hopefully it willl be in the right place to get rid of both 1 and 2 gasses when the wastegate opens......
this was my biggest hurdle and only can hope it works...
believe me when i say ...I had no space...lol right now the wastegate sits about 1/16 off the crossmember / subframe
