Can anyone who has used or is using a Turbonetics t66 or t70 or even bigger tell me what you think of them and the rear wheel HP it makes on your engine.
I am thinking of buying a new one for my ported TII
Cheers

what kind of port? we're spooling T70's up pretty well on half bridges
even a good large street port would get the job done.
15+ psi by 4200 - 4500rpms... 400+rwhp @ 15psi eaaasy: 500rwhp -/+ @ 19 - 20psi

My engine porting on another engine ran 9.50 @ about 153 mph I think in a rx7 FD funnycar. But my engine has not got the extream exhaust porting. It is the largest extended port and it is the same as Cannon and Strong (at one time they had the fastest rotary in the World) ran in there drag car before they went to periperal D ports. My engine builder said he had NEVER seen such a long and clean ports, it might explain why my engine is a little slack down low but runs harder the faster it goes. Even with full boost at 2900 rpm the engine doesn't really crack until 4000 rpm and the faster it goes the harder it goes. My car weighs 1450 kg with me in it and No I don't weigh 350 Kg's My car is a big heavy 929 wagon. My Rx7 is having some new makeup fitted. I would like a Street and occasional strip combo. I had a look at some compressor Maps and the T66 looks more streetable but I may be able to live with a T70
Basic very large extent port Lots of fuel, Wolf V4 ECU, 3 inch Id exhaust, Tial 48mm Wastegate, Water air intercooler to come..
