A little prob with intercooler.

Last sat I was tring to finish my turbo n/a. I had a used intercooler I got off of ebay and I droped it and broke a small part off of it. I am just going to get another one off of ebay but untill then can I run without it I am only running 6 psi? I am not going to race it or anything like that I just like to take it to work ( three minutes away) and back home.

No it didnt fall into the intercooler it was part of the mounting that was attached to the plastic ends and it took a pice of the plastic with it leaving a hole in it the size of a nickel.

I got it for like $30 off of ebay. It was a old saab intercooler. Do you guys think it will be ok to run 6psi without a intercooler?

Just stay out of the boost and it won't be a problem at all.

if i were you i'd just spend a little more money on a even slightly better intercooler. I'm guessing the Saab intercooler couldn't have been that big, y don't you just run a stock TII intercooler as a front mount. pretty sure you could get one at a low price.
