Lim and Uim vacuum port questions
Hey fellas seeing as im in the middle of setting up my car for single turbo I know I won't be needing all these vacuum ports so my question is on the Lim do i eliminate them all ? And how about on my uim? I plan on welding up the ones I don't need so I need to know for sure which ones I won't ever need, plan on using an aftermarket fuel pressure regulator aswell.... I do have spare uim and LIM so not too worried about that. So basically need to know what all vacuum ports to eliminate, thanks in advance fellas

Depending on your set up, you can delete them all. The only necessary ones are brake booster, map, fpr and bov. Of course I'm assuming FD but the 4 or 3 nipples on the lim that pass through it don't need to be capped as they are isolated from the lim. They are just pass throughs. The 4 on the front of the uim where are for the rats nest and the pcv valve. The 2 on the back are for map and double throttle i think. If you look at the vacuum diagram you can see what ports are for what. If you get a vacuum distribution block, you can delete all the ports and use the block for your vacuum needs.

For the cleanest and most tucked install, you're going to want to drill a new port on the back of the throttle body post throttle plate. Then install a nipple the largest size of the feed of the block. Then hide the block somewhere on top of the rear iron. You could also use the large vacuum port on the front of the uim that would normally receive the pcv valve if you don't want to drill anything. You just need a large vacuum port to feed the block and then you run all the normal size line after that from the various ports to whatever needs it
