Hi, a friend offered me a KKK K27 from a mercedes truck that is in really good condition. I want to put it on S4 with 4x720cc injectors because of future rtek ecu. i have not very much info about this turbo but something about the truck.

the engine is a V8 892 CI and makes about 450 - 500hp @ 2000rpm. depending on version. Iīve seen that garrett makes an optional turbo for this truck that is the T04E42.
I am very newbie at turbos and i just want to know if ts suitable or not.

THX man, i see that your K29 is quite big but, what i can see from your pictures is that the K27 iīm talking about, is HUGE on the hot side,i hope is just my imagination...
Anyway, this next week i will try to take some pics and get some measures, maybe it wil help to decide if itīs a good option...

 

Yeah I'm thinking about changing the hotside on mine as well. Most of the k27's I've seen have a huge hotside with a very small front compressor housing and wheel.

 

I found this guy in uk that sells it because itīs too large for his application, i donīt know if itīs the same turbo but the specs from the original truck t is from are quite the same.
