K27 Blitz turbo kit

K27 Blitz turbo kit
Does anyone have any experience with this turbo kit from blitz?
I am looking a purchasing a 7 that is spec'd with this kit and was wondering what to expect?
Is is ball bearing?
what other turbo's are in this size range? E.G. is it closer to a Greddy T78, or an Apex'i RH6?
What is the potential of a fully ported motor and this turbo?
What RPM range can I expect to hit 15PSI of boost (Full boost)

Thanks Ernie,
I would really just like to know some of the specs on the turbo to find out if the FD I want to buy is set up with a small single turbo, or a large single turbo. Hence the question in my first post about it being closer in size to a RH6 or a T78. I checked the The blitz site, and it is no help whatsoever. Oh well, sooner or later something will come up.
If anyone has any ideas let me know.
David

From what I can tell it looks to be in the RX6 range, but a little bigger. I searched and found this site:

Another site for Supras said it spools a little faster than a T66 and makes 600-650 on their cars.

If I am reading that chart correctly, the biggest K27 turbo looks like it is equivelent to a TO4R, and just a hair smaller than a GT 3540. I can't imagine they put the smallest K27 on this car. That is down in the TD06 range, and definetly a turbo I would like to pass on.
Any other info on this turbo?

The K27 turbo is a kkk turbo. Although this turbo is not very big it will make a ton of power a spool very quickly. I've heard of these turbos making over 500 hp on a ported fc 13bt. I beleive that srmotorsports uses these turbos in their kits as well you could check their site. If there is anything else you want to know pm RX340 he is very familiar with this kit. mike

I referenced that chart that Ryde or Dye found to try and see which on of the K27 turbo's are provided with the FD kit, but no one provides the #'s on their site that I could find. The largest K27 turbo looks fine, the smallest looks, well, small.
according to the owner, the car is currently tuned at 13PSI, and is putting down 360RWHP. He provided a dyno, but there is no car identifier on it. I don't doubt that this is his dyno though.
Thanks for the info on RX340. I will definetly hit him up.

David,
Sorry it took so long for me to respond. Unfortunately I can't give any first hand info on the Blitz set up. I've corresponded with a few FD owners online who had the kit but they were still in the tuning stages. They did say that the craftmanship and quality of the parts were second to none. And at low boost levels (10-15psi)the turbo spooled up extremely quick for its size. Full boost somewhere in the low 3k range if I remember right. As far and the turbo itself its hard to argue with the likes of Ferrari, Porsche, Audi etc. All use(d) Triple K turbos as factory equipment. Hope this helps!

I did find out a little bit more about this turbo. The tag on the turbo itself specifices it as 3470 MOJ. when comparing it to other turbos on this link

It "appears" to be equal in size to the TO4S. At least in horsepower rating. Is this a fair comparison?
And if so, what would an equivalent TO4S be expected to laydown?
Also when does a turbo of this size non BB acheive full boost?
Thanks
David
