Just went single 62-1 I had some question

I was wondering how much lbs of boost you guys with 62-1 are running. And how much power is it putting out. My Mechanic doesnt wat to go over 17. I was wondering if i could push more with out damaging the motor?

To make a really long story short....

On pump gas (93+ octane) with proper tuning and a good fuel system (not maxed out at redline), you can do 15 safely.. maybe even 16-17.

On race gas with proper tuning and fuel setup AND a new MAP (manifold absolute pressure) sensor that is calibrated for over 17 psi, you could go to 20 to 25 PSI. Keep in mind that when you go over about 15-17 PSI, you are really taking a much greater risk of something going wrong...

I'm just giving you some friendly advice... stay around 15 PSI on pump and you'll have a great street car that will haul ***. Go over 15 only if you're a serious drag race type and are willing to take more risk. (if you're a dragger, a 62-1 is kinda small anyhow!).

ANother Question, do you guys have any problems with your ac. My car is fine but when i put the ac on the car stalls, but only when i put the clutch all the in and come to a stop, it drops down past 1000 rpms and stalls.

I had mine tuned up to 22psi. That is where I was told by Bryan from BNR it would drop off in power. I'm not sure of what power it made because the dyno at pettit was trashed when I was there for steve kan to tune it. At 15psi I trapped 122 to give you an idea and I think I'd have hit 130 no problem with 22psi.

like war said don't go over 15psi on pump ever and you'll be fine if the tune is right

Did you buy the 62-1 kit from somewhere or piece it together?
