are all t4 flanges exactly the same? I just got a t4 4bolt flange from a guy off ebay and when I tried to align the holes non of them match up. I mean they are close and you all but they aren't anywhere near exact and would need to be drilled to get any sort of big enough bolts through the holes. Also the flange's outer diameter is smaller by like 1/4 of an inch than the one on the turbo? Whats that all about? Is this flange just crap? Thanks.

There is two types of T4 flanges I have come accross (aside from divided and undivided). One odd ball does have a slight bolt hole difference and outer dimension differance. The inner turbine inlet is the same for the either. Theres also a "Euro T4" flange. Its basically a T3 footprint, but with T4 sized divided inlet. Generally those turbine that mate to the "Euro" spec run t4 turbine wheels, T4 inlet and scroll sizes, but with the af-mentioned t3 bolt pattern (some of the Master Power turbos on ebay come with this).

As for whats going with you, they either sent you a T3 flange, or perhaps you have one of those rare and weird slightly off t4 turbine housings and the flange they sent you was standard. Chances are they wouldn'e be sending you the odd-ball t4 flange because no one uses them.

oh wow cool site, thanks man. Basically I talked to bobybeach and he said it wasn't any special flange. It's just a normal garrett backside. Anyways I talked to the guy that sold me this flange and he said I can take it back to him with a rubbing of my flange and he will make it for me. Sucks I gotta do this but at least he is willing to work with me. Thanks again needfd.
