my head hurts after reading this thread.

hook the wastegate signal line up to an air compressor and put pressure in the line and physically check the wastegate to verify that it's opening. i think that might be your overboosting problem. and make sure it has a good boost source... when you hook it back up, tee it off of your boost gauge or something to make sure it's getting a good signal
you're not going to have an engine long enough to diagnose any fuel problems if you're boosting to the moon and back

+ 1 i agree it sounds like a wastegate issue to me too. That is a good way to test it. And 30 psi sounds like its just not opening. If it was just being outflown you would have more of a creep problem rather then this major spiking.

Try connecting the pump straight to the battery or acc and give a test run and see what happens. Also check your FPR and make sure you dial setting is starving the injectors of gas when you go up on boost.
My money is on this as well. I rewired my pump to straight battery voltage with bigger gauge wire and I had to lean out my map, IDC's dropped significantly too.

Maybe your gate is sticking shut, or is just too small. What is the rest of your exhaust system? DP size, cat/midpipe, catback?

The injector duty cycle isnt related to the boost spiking, and the spiking definitely needs to be delt with first. Those duty cycles while high shouldnt cause the injector to stick unless they are staying that high for a sustained amount of time. Your fuel pressure probably needs to be higher under boost to get your duty cycle lower.
hot side a/r is a .96. wastegate is dumped out side not in the exhaust. waste gate is a 46mm.and exhaust is 3 in straight thru no cat

Have you tried backing down the gain all the way down to like 5% or so and see what happens? Cuz 77% sounds pretty high. Which boost controller you using?

A 44mm wastegate opening into the atmosphere isnt loud? My 50mm w/2" dump sounds like the world is ending!

Sounds interesting...

yeah im thinking its the gate, thats the only thing that would be causing the boost to be so out of control, and with the boost controller out it should run spring pressure. Other then the gate it could be the signal line going to the gate. If the gate was just too small the boost would creep rather then spike. maybe the diaphram is torn.

Yes, I have the HKS standard 40mm and it is ear-splitting if you are not used to it! If your wastegate is opening to atmosphere, there will be no doubt in your mind.
