I was thinking about running methanol/water in my car but decided why not make some extra power while cooling the charge.

Running a .060 jet so I'll see how this works at the track wednesday.

Anyone else running all meth?

 

not yet but I have plans for methane (LMG) as a secondary. Since the methane requires a pre heater to bring the fuel temp up so the motor can accept it, I thought it might be possible to use this to lower the internal temp for more output.

I have methanol injection.Most people so the 50/50 mix of methanol and water but I am doing straight methanol.

 

Yeah that was a little confusing.

Running straigt Methanol would be a little dangerous on the street, IMO...
