I think I need 2 BOV's

The reason I think this is because im getting compressor surge and Im blowing off my air filter. The reason my air filter keeps blowing off is partly my fault because im using an adaptor that really doesnt fit all that well, but it shouldn't be blowing off at all. Im using an HKS SS BOV. Im running a Turbonetics 60-1 turbo at only 8psi of boost right now and im assuming it will only get worse when its tuned for 15-18psi. What does everyone think about this, get another one?

GREDDY racing will work good for your application. Dragon uses 2 X Apexi BOV's with a T-04R at 1.0 kilos boost and it works good.

Yes, the vacuum line for the BOV should be after the TB.

I like the way my HKS BOV sounds and would like to keep it. I will buy another if I need to but was wondering if everyone thinks I need to or if I should just not worry about it.

8 PSI should not be maxing tha SS out. I know people that ran bigger boost with that BOV with no comp surge

Greg, Unfortunately Im not ready to run her yet but I will have the car out for everyone to look at if they want to. I really would like to get it tuned on a dyno and have all the legal stuff taken care of before I run it hard.
