I need some help with T04b part numbers..
I am trying to order a new turbo through a company that deals with allied signal, they need a definite garret partnumber in order to get me the turbo,
What I want is a ball bearing t04b or 60-1, with .81 or .96 Ar and P trim wheel, if anyone could give me some guidance in this area, it would be extremely helpful..
Also this turbo is for a 87 tII with streetported motor, I am biulding a new manifold for the car, that will have external wastegate flange, any help in wastegate selection would be helpful to..
Another area I could use some advice on is the fueling/timing issue, I know a standalone is the way to go, however I already have an FCD,1st gen S-AFC, profec B, is it worth parting ways with my existing to get a haltech or wolf, or just invest a bit more and get an ITC and upgrade to a newer S-afc?? any opinions welcome..Thanks..Max

Check out http://www.turbocharged.com/main.htm , or just give them a call.
go for a divided exhuast housing on the turbo, a 1.15A/R divded will spool as quick as a 0.96A/R single entry, but it will allow for more exhuast flow meaning more HP up the rpm range
band aid's like AFC's etc are extactly that, band aids, flick them off to someone else and buy a after market programmable efi system
dont get a BB turbo just get an ordinary one and use the spare cash you will have left over to go towards the engine management system. You really need the EMS when playing with a WAY higher flowing turbo like you are wanting, especially with it being a ported motor,
