Hybrid turbo question

Hybrid turbo for my 87 TII that i bought off my friend.. Shaft plays back and forth about an eight of an inch. Up and down that i could see scratches on the compressor..will it cost alot to have this fixed???/

your turbo sounds mighty fucked. get it rebuilt. i don't know how much it would cost but if you email bryan: bnrsupercars@aol.com and tell him victor sent you, i'm sure you can work something out with him.

at the very least i'm sure he'll be able to ballpark how much it would cost to have it rebuilt.
