Hybrid Electronic Vehicle
Hybrid Electronic Vehicle
Okay guys, I am working on converting a 2002 for explorer to a different type of power, ie, a hybrid. That is all I am allowed to say, Basically Ford will sue the **** out of me if I say more than that. Now next year I am trying to convince the team to switch over to a 13b setup for power. I need to know what turbo would give us the most low end torque. That is what we are mainly conentrated on is low end torque. So if you can give me a few ideas for what turbo would work best for this setup please let me know. Thanks a lot.

hahaha no. I am not an engineer yet. I am a student at Penn State hence my sig. But I am working on this project with the school, and it's basically for a competition that we have with 14 other schools. But Ford is one of the sponsors and we have to sign liability **** so we won't talk about what goes on in case Ford uses it, which they won't. But thanks for the suggestion. Hell you never know, maybe in ten years you'll see a hybrid electric vehicle made by ford with a rotary. I don't know?

Oh yeah I know that we want to use a small turbo, I was asking more in the specific turbo. And they said they would rather stay away from propane, stay more to gasoline. Thanks.
