How much power is locked in the trailing timing?

I've noticed on the datalogit groups, that alot of tuners run some realy low, if not negative numbers for the trailing timing. I'm aware that this is for safety reasons. But my question is, how much power is wasted (on average) when you have realy low timing numbers.

How much power is lost while running a setup like, 10 Leading, and -5 trailing over something like 10 L, and 2 or 3 Trailing?

I know that fuel grade is a major issue in timing, as is spark plugs. CJ
