How much boost do you guys run with their single turbo set up on a daily basis with pump gas? I'm just curious as to see how much people are doing.

Currently only 10-12 on my RX6, but once I dynotune I'll probably cap things off at 15psi. Any more is too big of a risk of detonation to me for a daily driver I intend on keeping for a while.

Usually 17psi on Sunoco 94.

Have a 10psi wastegate spring, but almost never turn the boost down to 10psi, so I'll probably put the 16psi spring back in soon...

I run 10.2 PSI (my wastegaste spring setting) daily (which dyno'd at 280 RWHP). Sometimes I kick it up to 13 PSI (which dyno'd at 320 RWHP) but I try not too since I am still running the stock clutch and I get a severe burning smell when I do that (the clutch is on its last leg I think). Hopefully I get a new clutch/flywheel in the next couple months and and track down my boost control/leak problem and I plan on running 15 daily. Of course I will have to upgrade my tires and even then possibly go with the racelogic traction control system....

Man it never ends....

I run std for me 20psi and up to 22psi when I need a little more wheel spin to impress my friends !

I have dynoed 472rwhp on a dynapack which = 490rwhp in dynojet language in street trim (mufflers+airfilter attached) on 98 RON octane fuel + water injection with 19.9psi boost. with 22psi it feels quite a bit stronger across the power range.

Oh yeah, it has been in this spec since my "twin" CDI upgrade and have been driving it everyday to work for over 7 months now (15 000km) usually I see full power and max revs (8500rpm @ 20psi) at least a couple of times daily in 3rd or 4th gear depending on how lucky I am feeling in regards to getting a ticket ............ Engine still feels very strong and the compression has not changed.

Only other "odd" thing I do besides the WI is I premix in conjunction with the OMP, I run around 180 to 200:1 petrol/oil ratio all the time for extra lubrication under the slight extra load I run my engine over stock All up ratio under full load would be in the range of around 100:1 or there abouts.

You run 98 octane daily? Is that the at the same rating as american octane, because I've heard some counties have 89 octanes is about the same quality as american 92 and 93 octane.

We use research octane numer (RON) you guys use motor octane number (MON) the MON test is much harder and is tested in a real life test rig I believe, and and such your MON rated fuel in underated in our system. From what I have read on here and seen on other sources our 98RON is like your 94MON fuel or there abouts.

Where as our main dyno systems here are underated (dyno Dynamics & dynapacks) compared to your (dynojets) LOL.

But yeah, I am pretty sure our 98ron is like your 94 or 93mon pump gas.

I've never seen premium as low as 91 in Canada.
Reg = 87
Mid = 89 or 91 if you are lucky
Premium = 92 or 93

Th premium has been steadily falling in grade, esso and Petro Can use to be 92, but I noticed the other day their pumps now say 91..
Chevron is still king with 94 octane, although we can't get it in Alberta, only BC.. Everytime I go to B.C., I take a set of jerry cans with me to bring back some high test...Max

Oh yeah, one more thing, alot of the discount stations here call their mid grade "premium", if you see premium for 5 to 6 cents a litre cheaper than anywhere else, its probably mid grade 89/90 octane, read the fine print on the pump, caveat emptor..

14 to 15 psi with 9.7:1 rotors.
18 to 19 psi with 9.5:1 rotors.
20 psi with 9.0:1 rotors.
20 to 22 psi with 8.5:1 rotors.
That's with Amoco Ultimate and with all the neccessary mods!
With race gas the compression does not matter in my experience. If you have the right amount of injectors I've seen cars running 35 to 38 psi with VP 116 octane racing gasolene.
With Alcohol or Methanol I guess the sky and your pocket would be the limit!

On my daily driver all values are taken from the Power FC commander readouts (bar) and autometer pro-comp mechanical gauge (psi). The car runs exclusively on street fuel (Shell 93 or BP/Amoco 93).

.78 bar (about 11 psi) on wastegate spring
.84 bar (about 12 psi) on low setting of Profec B
.99 bar (about 14 psi) on high setting of Profec B.

I usually run the 12 psi setting on a daily basis
