How important is manifold to get turbo work..?

My next winter project is to port my tII and change stock turbo to to4B (60-1, A/R 1.15). I Have manifold made by some "professional" drag racers from puertorico (for to4B) and my guestion is how important it is to have good manifold? Should I go for this or get HKS or something else?

Ive made all the basic mods like exhaust, intake, IC etc.etc.

Thanks!

As long as it's a properly designed manifold, and strong enough, it doesn't matter to me who made it. If they really are professional drag racers, or at least have something on the ball, it should be ok. Got any pics of it, or specs?

As to how important a proper manifold is, is hard to say. It's important - like every other aspect of your single turbo setup. Just like the old adage says, "you're as strong as your weakest link"

Hmm, very interesting, that'll keep the turbo REALLY low. It should work fine, about as well as any HKS or other similiar manifold would work.

Ideally, you'd want equal lenght divided etc, etc... but that get to be big $$$'s There are severl threads that discuess that aspect. Setzep has a good one right now titled "Help me redesign my WG runners" or something like that, you could check out. Or search for a thread about my manifold for other suggestions.
