i have a thread where i talked about my turbo and said that it didnt spool fast. i would like to be more specific as to not give the turbo a bad name, it was not the turbo, it was me. my motor was weak, like 60psi on both rotors. that combined with 2.25in intercooler piping and the stock 13bt compression tube probably killed that poor turbo. so, to clear things up, the hx52 with the 16cm^2 rear is probably a great turbo, as a matter of fact, i will let you know after the rebuild. good day

 

a custom made exhaust manifold would also help with spooling the turbo too, hopefully after you do the rebuild. that's a fun turbo. it's wicked
