Make sure your lines are connected correctly, and double check your BC settings if you are running one.

I have been having issues with mine also. Mine tends to stay closed and cause me to over boost, and then other times its like its opening to soon and I get very very bad lag. I am using a AVCR and it worked great with my twins. I have to hooked up according to this diagram.

find out what kind of spring you have been use. I have mine with a 6psi spring and it works perfect at 6psi , cause I'm making the fuel map and testing it jet.

I use one with a 6 psi spring ones and I have problems to control the boost with a manual boost controler, betwin one gear an another . I think that you should not have problems with the AVC-R . but you should know first wich is the spring that you R using.

I have it has 10 lb spring. Boost control works fine, but not the wastegate. I setup as 15 lb limit and before it hits 15 lb it opens up at 10 or 12 lb.
