HkS To4E Turbo kit on 88 Turbo II, how much horsepower?
I'm considering getting the HKS Turbo kit for my 88 Turbo II. It has a T04e turbo with the kit. I don't know a lot about turbos and would like to know if anyone knows what type of horsepower this turbo can create and also how fast it spools up? I have personally pulled my turbo on and off several times and now just found a cracked exhaust manifold, so I figure I might as well invest the money in a good kit set up that has the manifold, turbo and all oil and water lines. This seems like something I can easily install.

Is your engine ported? On a good street port your car should have full boost (around 15 psi) at around the 4000 range. On a stock port you should be in the 4500 range. It will still kcik your *** whn it comes online. There is a really nice looking to4e kit on the partstrader.com.

It comes with intercooler and all. Have fun!
