HKS front mount, Any good?
The HKS Type S FMIC is very similar to the GReddy. It sits basically the same way and install is about the same.
The maor difference is that the piping is mild steel not aluminum. The piping runs to where the stock cross pipe connects. The reason is that all the HKS single turbo kits include a new cross pipe which runs up by the smog pump like stock.
It is a very efficient core and does allow cooling to the radiator.
The kit includes all mounting hardware to relocate the radiator, ac and power steering lines. It is a good kit but if i wasn't tied to HKS i'd prob get the GReddy due to the piping not necissarily the size or anything.
The end tanks have raised HKS on them

well what i hear the type S is pretty small and skinny, and also its HK$, if u want a better HK$ one go for the GT or the type r for holding singles, the greddy 3 row is a awsome FMIC, full pipes and good price, i know a few supras sporting the 3 row for singles, i go for the 3 row over the type s u get full pipes and a mean *** FMIC
The HKS Type-S is designed to be more efficient and allow more airflow hence the skinnier core.
The Type-R core is offered but not in a true front mount design and is also more expensive. The Type-R is more of a half mount sorta like the M2 med ic.
