Hks evc vi

Hey guys I'm running a Borg warner s366xl with a 44 mm wastegate and the evc 6 boost controller. It took me a while but I almost got this boost control figured out. Only a couple things I'm confused about that hopefully someone can help me with.

First off I got my low at 10 psi on the initial set up. I wanna run a consistent 13psi on my A settings and 17psi on B. What's happening is it's holding 13 psi but if I stay in it full throttle for to long it will let boost go up to about 15.5 in my A setting. It also seems to vary by what gear I'm in. In 2nd it hold that 13psii for a much shorter time than in 3rd or 4th. 3rd/4th will hold the set boost level all the way up to about 7 grand and then boost will start going up. What I been doing is putting it in gear from vacuum and then flooring the gas to let boost build and see where boost levels off and holds.
Any advice?

No, my problem is totally different and was an initial setup issue.

Sounds like the OP's problem is due to the positioning of the wastegate runners. Assuming that the offset in the controller is set to 100% for both A and B boost levels, it sounds like the wastegate simply can't flow enough to control boost. The wastegate size is large enough, so that only leaves the runners as the cause.

Assuming everything else is connected properly, that is.
