Top Secret Japan is close friend with RE Amemiya. Why don't you ask Top Secret Japan to find out some info from RE Amemiya? It seems weird to me that you have the best connnection in Japan but you don't choose to use it?

dont use apexi.if the turbo needs a rebuild,u will need to buy a new one since they dont have a factory that does this in the usa.

greddy is great power but great lag.

not sure about the blitz turbo.they use a german kkk turbine.kkk is what they use on porsche and audi.

go with a t66 or a gt3540 both good for 400hp and spool is better than alot of higher hp turbos.

with the RX6, 400rwhp is doable with a ported motor and higher boost levels. It's a good kit, i'm enjoying it right now. If you want something with little lag that can produce 400rwhp, check out the GT35/40, in another thread someone made 400rwhp at a little over 15psi on a stock motor which is very impressive. Other turbos that would be good is the T04S. If you have a lot of connections in Japan get the RE TD06-25G kit, that can make 400rwhp, it's the same turbo used in RE amemiyas race cars

what about XS Engineering's T40E or T40S turbo?, i heard that they barely have any lag, and give a good amount of hp

Depending on the wheel trim and a/r, the T04S can be a great turbo from what I hear. I know a guy making 360rwhp at 10psi with exceptional spool up on this car. Car is used for track day events.

Maybe a bit off-topic, but will I need a ported engine if I go with something like the T78?
