hey guys single turbo question

Hey guys I am getting a rx-7 soon, I have read here and there about how some of the fastest cars out there have a single turbo, I was wondering what you guys have to say about it.... And how much does it cost to switch from a twin to a single turbo. And will there be a significant hp increase?

Well there are definate advantages and disadvantages to going single. It cost me about 10k or more when all was said and done to get all the parts for the swap including kit, IC, fuel upgrades, ecu, ignition upgrade, exhaust, so on and so on. It's all a matter of how much you have to spend and keep in mind the more power you're making the higher the chances of something breaking.
Personally I have extra money sitting in an account just waiting for when the motor pops. You really need to decide what it is you want to do with the car and base your moves upon that. If you have any more questions you can PM me although I'm sure others will chime in.

oh and yes for most kits there's a significant change over stock or semi stock car.
