Help! T78 turbo, PFC, and new Boost contro Kit

Sup guys,

Ive been having boost problems! I did a search on the Power FC section but it didnt help much.

I dynoed a few days ago and i couldnt boost over 8 psi (309hp 252 tq @ 8psi). Lawerence at Dyno Spot Racing told me i might have a problem with my boost controller so i went out and bought a brand new Apexi Boost Control kit for my Power FC from SRmotorsports. I installed it today and the most i can boost is 10 psi! i dont know what the problem is.... The instructions was in japanese!!

Has anyone used this boost control kit before or had any problems? Has anyone installed it in their single turbo setup? any help would be great... thanks

Ok, the small harness plugs into the side of the pfc and then the old/stock map sensor plugs into it to read atmospheric pressure(no vacuum line). The new map sensor is put in place of the stock sensor and plugs up to the stock wiring. You have to change the map sensor setting in the commander. It is under SETTINGS>PIM and then change the setting to OPTION 1. The boost control solenoid plugs into the stock wiring for the stock boost control solenoid bolted to the intake manifold. Anymore ?'s let me know.

THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! It works!!

When i called SRMotorsport this morning one of the tech. told me to hook up the stock map to the little harness( the harness that plugs in the PFC) and run a vaccum from the stock map sensor to the new 3 bar map sensor!!! Ive been messing with it all day! I thought i wired it wrong but SRMotorsport told me the wrong info!!!
