Had my Bosch 1600's cleaned and.....

The gentleman (Rich at www.cruzinperformance.com) informed me that the Bosch 1600's were originally designed for propane powered vehicles. Here is what he said:
"I did some research on these particular injectors and they are actually
Bosch injectors manufactured for Ford for use on Propane powered vehicles.
The original Bosch part number is: 0 280 150 839"

I highly recommend this guy. Great prices too. He charged me $10 each injector.

Just thought some might find this interesting.

It was actually a joint propane venture between Chrysler and Ford. Both of the companies have the same part, with different part numbers, but the bosch number is the same. The injectors were never used in anything that went into production, which kind of makes me wonder why there are so damn many of them floating around
