Thanks ahead of time

great thanks, you have a quite a high post count if you dont mind one more, it seems rx7's need more boost to make the same power as some other cars such as a skyline, but the gt4088 is rated at 700hp and if the rx would be capable of at least 600+hp on this setup, thanks ahead

https://www.rx7club.com/spec-tuning-154/how-size-matters-478915/ This is a good read by Sean from A-Spec regarding turbo maps, flow and how they relate to rotaries in comparison to piston engines. Where a piston engine may make around 10 hp per lb/min of air, a rotary will make about 7.5-7.7 depending on porting, setup, etc. So figure that the rotary is about 30% less "efficient" at using air than a piston engine when determining approx. output of any turbo that was rated for piston engines.
So, by going by Garrett's compressor map for the GT4088R, we can see that it will efficiently make over 60 lbs/min, so you can figure it will be good up to roughly 500whp. Stretched out it could probably make 550WHP. I'm sure someone, somewhere has made more than this, but this is a good estimate.

cool everybody thanks for the info, I have been told by a reliable source that I should look at the to4z for a 600hp application with minimal lag
