gt35r stageV T4 vs 3574 T4 vs gt35r T4?

hi guys,
i searche the site and did not find any info about the stageV.
do anyone have a comment for the gt35r stage v?i am searching for a turbo for an fd.
if it is so good why there is no info here?
so far i am thinking the gt3574 ptrim and the stagev 1.00.
the above two versions are modified garrets.do anyone know what modifications they carry?i am asking because i am i Greece and i want to be easy to find a spare part and repair it.the third simple gt35r T4 option is the simplest but it is a modified too?

any suggestion or comments are welcome
thanks

I never heard of 'stage' before. To me it sounds like something the company has done to the turbo, not the manufacture.

Its hard to advise you when you have not listed what your goals for the car would be.

eh turbonetics also do the "stage" exhaust wheels, effects spool up times and top end. Stage 5 being the slower spooling, most top end of the bunch (if I remember correctly) it has something to do with the angle of the turbine blades me thinks.

and what power are you looking for? I run a gt3582r 1.06 a/r divided housing 3" v-band outlet. Sucker spools pretty damn fast, shift response is awesome, and it made 383whp on 12.5psi on pump gas on a street port.

a stage 5 turboine wheel is very very common. it fits into a T3 series turbine housinng.

stage 5 is the largest and most efficient of the series.

Stage 5 turbine is 2.438 X 2.798 in diameter and is 5.408 in area

the regular GT3582r is 2.45 X 2.677 or 5.171 in area

the GT3574 is 2.543 X 2.921 or 5.89 in area.

other issues complicate netting out the performance of a Stage 5 in that it's turbine housing differs from the GT35 housing.

turbine area is good on a rotary. guess which turbine i like?

hi,
thank you all for your responses.
i am planing about 400rwhp .
i have a stock fuel and a pfc with wideband instaled.
future updrades to complete the setup with the new gt35:
vmount with a koyo,
3" downpipe.
fuell injectors
so Howard your first choice would be the 3574 then the stage V and then the standard T4 gt35?

why you sayed that the stage v is a T3? turblown have one version that is T4.
aren t all the cores the same? (gt35r?) and simply change the housing and the wheel?
in the turbo comparison thread the stage v is the T04E? i do not know if it is the same turbo that turblown sells. or maybe the same wheel and housing?
why is so important to have a wheel ratio 1.00?
please advise for spool up close to stock. so stil i need the large area and the 1.0 ratio?
as i searched many advertise that the stage v is for quick spool , faster than the 3574.
i am confused.if it is faster than the 3574 wich has the biggest area then the small are is what we want?
i am not going for 600wrhp.if that counts.
can someone clear the pros and cons for the three turbos for that hp i am aiming?
i am not an expert and the more i read the more i am confused.more variables come to play..
thanks

In case you are not aware, the gt3574 is available in a bb unit, its called the gt3574r. I am firing mine up for the first time hopefully tomorrow with that gt3574r. Good luck.

THe 35R and 35R with stage V turbine wheel will perform similar, but the newer 35R turbine should flow more air, even though its slightly smaller.

I was saying the 35R turbine wheel (UHP) is newer than the Stage 5 wheel. The two will perform similarly, but the 35R wheel is better than the V.
