Hey, I'm new to swapping in new turbos and such so I was wondering if you people with more experience can "spit" some knowledge. lol. I was wondering what would be a good set up to run a gt35r with. What size injectors? What kind of ECU should i be running and if its safe for it to be running on a stock engine. (not ported) Thanks in advance guys..

Well what do you want out of your car? is their a certain hp range you would like to be in? I'm sure that will help a lot of people guide you in the right direction.

- Injectors wise I would move to 720cc as primary and 1600+ as secondary with an upgraded fuel pump.

- ECU I went with Power FC and the person building my car likes it a lot, however they said a certain company that provides the harness for it hasn't been that helpful with little details. (Steve Kan was able to tune it though, it just had to be towed to the dyno for him to correct the map). The other big ECU the FC guys like are the haltechs, I'm sure someone will chime in on that.

- FMIC and better radiator. I went with the greddy 3 row and a koyo. I have no bumper protection with such a large FMIC. I'm sure you have heard this before, but heat is an engine's/turbo's worst enemy. So keeping it cool should be a high priority.

- Stronger clutch, I'm sure you will hear different things but my car is getting an exedy stage II this week or next week. The clutch issue is what kicked my cars ***. Mr. Kan was only able to tune my car to around 9psi before my clutch said no more.

- a nice boost controller, I went with an AEM tru boost gauge. Kinda nice being able to adjust your boost from your boost gauge.

- a decent exhaust system with a nice wastegate. A lot of my parts where modified to work correctly, I went with a Racing beat TII REV exhaust, custom down pipe, heavily modified turbo manifold with a 46mm tial waste gate.

There are probably a few things I left out and I'm sure others will fill in. Depending on your goal you may need slightly wider tires/rims so you actually have traction.

I live in the bay area I don't know anywhere that I can get it tuned at.. Wheres Steve Kan located at.? Anyone know where I can get it tuned if I run this set up? looking for mid to high 300s. I already have a proFec B, and dual gReddy PE straight pipe exhaust. I'm set with the clutch and FMIC, just saving up for the turbo, ECU, and injectors and wanted to see what you guys thought about it. Please give me more advice guys!
