gt35r

hey just bought a gt35r couple months ago, but I've noticed when i first bought it that it had some play on the shaft, is that normal for a ball bearing turbo? also the place rx7store had it dropped ship from said they don't take anything back. so now its on my car, but i'm just curious to how its supposed to be.

to my knowledge, a new turbo with NO oil in it will have a slight play in it due to now oil between the shaft and the bearing. once filled with oil, it should not have play? i may be srong about this.. anyone else chime in?

Some play is normal, but you dont want it excessive.
