Hey Ralph, do you have any pulls that go past 7900rpm ???

Just wondering how much longer your peak hp would extend...can't believe you lifted @ 7900rpm.

Again, sorry for all the off topic bull....

Hehe, I said that is the goal. The 13B WILL do it. The 20B on stock ports - I will be happy with 600whp with no lag (compared to the 13B), but if it pulls 800whp with that big turbo, I am more than happy. If it does not, it will get a street port and FD housings, and then it WILL.
Stop hating...

Short of...so-and-so went X.XX, so it has to work.

I'm not saying you can't make 800hp out of a 2 rotor.
I wouldn't waste my time and money, cause a 20B would easily make that kinda power with less money!

JD this is the last time i'll post to this thread and probably the forum as i've already said enough and should've just stayed out of it. You guys just want to argue all the time and i not going to get involved anymore.

I'm not going to build something to your specs.
Why the hell would i do that. I already know what works as i've already done it.
You seem to think you know what a pp motor wants have you done it before?
And not once did i say it's easy, i've been saying it possible and unless you guys have tried it don't say it isn't because of so and so.

I told you to bring whatever you got. I don't care what it is. As long as it's a 2 rotor i dont' care what you do to it.
I already have a pp motor here and i also have a dyno.
so if you want to prove me wrong the choice is yours...

can you please a post of the dyno graph of the turbo pp motor that you've "already done". just do that and you can pretty much end this debate.

If thats the case i'll throw $$ behind JD "boostn7".. If in fact both partys are up for the challenge.. Make a new thread so we can stop cluttering Ralphs thread about pp bp vs sp @ high boost levels...

The point of some of the comments started on this thread(besides Ralph's dyno #'s which was and still is the original point of this thread) are about opinions on HP differences between 2 rotary engines with different porting configurations, and which one can make more HP efficiently. It can be settled on a dyno, dragging cars will just throw more variables(traction, chassis setup, etc.) into the mix.

Cryo? Heavier gears?
O.S. Giken makes a 5 speed gear set for the FD box with a strengthend input shaft, and closer ratios with a taller 1st.

http://www.otomoto.com.au/closeratiokit.htm

Not to mention there are a bunch in Japan (FEED, RE-A, etc) that make gear sets, some make six speed sets too (Gemini/Greddy, HKS).

I understand that the 20B will do 800whp way easier than the 13B.
But I am doing the 13B because :
- I want to rev a lot higher
- I want to play with it at 40psi+

I am sure the 20B will get built as well, but that will be in 6 months or so, not now. I have too many projects going on at the same time...

To each his own. I'm with Ted on this one. Why over stress a smaller displacement engine when you can get the same result out of the larger one? You must have a specific goal you are trying to reach. If that's so, then I understand where you are comming from. If you contact GURU racing in Austrailia, they can set you up with a 20b e-shaft with center bearing. The center bearing doesn't allow the e-shaft to flex. This will allow you to rev just as high as a 13b in race form. Plus you'll sound better.

you might as well be driving a domestic if you are telling people to go with a larger displacement("there is no replacement for diplacement").The whole reason most of us are amazed is because of the fact that we can make over 800(yes OVER 800) with 1.3L. There is no reason anyone needs to go over 800 in a car that weighs less than 3000lbs. You need to lay down real number at a track to really brag(drag strip or road race)! Why dont all of you let us know what numbers you are making at the drag strip(60ft, ET, and MPH) or times at the road race tracks like button willow(anyone under 1m 50s?) if you want to brag.
I can say I plan on making over 700 but that doesnt mean anything without numbers. I also plan on driving it all the time, not everyday but at least once a week in los angeles(which if any of you know isnt easy with all the traffic and cops). So lets starts seeing some proof!
Great job on the numners on the FD though! VERY Impressive. Cant believe it was on a PFC! Congrats!

We're going to be using twin 7AL2 4cyl. boxes with hvc coils on the leading. We had alittle bit of spark issues now so we'll see what this will do
