Just a quick question, has anyone installed the type r three row FMIC and kept the factory fiberglass reinforcement bar? I guess it could be cut to fit, but is it necessary or will the bumper sag without it.

 

You gotta cut it, if it came with a instructions... it shows that it must be cut.

The bumper won't sag without it, but those old urethane bumpers have more waves than the atlantic anyway. I cut the reinforcement like shown in the instructions, but it still didn't quite fit right, so I just took the whole thing off.
