got my car back from KDR

Picked up my car from KDR yesterday. Here is what I had done:

Rebuild motor, monster port and 3mm seals
Garrett GT35/40 single turbo conversion
fuel system
5th gear synchro
front mount
some other minor stuff
etc etc

I'd say they did a great job, as always and I am very pleased. Dave set it up to run on wastegate pressure so I am boosting about 8-9 psi now. The turbo is a dual ball dearing design, so it spools very fast. Power comes on smooth and strong, unlike the sharp kick with sequentials. Dave set the fuel maps pretty rich, so it does hesitae a bit at higher rpms. I've put about 320 miles on it already with no problems. I'm driving her down to Texas this week. Afterwards it will be plenty broken in and I'll hit the dyno for tuning and hp #s.
I took some pics. The ghetto red piping commin goff the turbo is only temporary untill Dave can get me the proper greddy pipe.

Hmm, what do I rather have, a shiny polished chunk of metal that sits in a shop or a car that actually drives? LOL actually the manifold is getting polished soon. Just don't feel like pulling it and having the car undriveable.

I'll polish the manifold, and the alternator. No need to do the rotor housings, who the hell looks there anyway?

But vosko...the dirt and **** all over the rest of the engine bay counteracts the bling. Therefore you have no bling. Why didnt you scrub it when the motor was out?
