To good to be true turbos (E-bay)

Been watching these for a while. It's a kit comes with BOV WG and t-70 turbo. Also they claim it's a Ball bearing. I know these have to be extremly poor quality, but has anyone run one? Or know of someone that has? There are multiple auctions for these same item all around the same price... Same company...

Seems way to good to be true...

Easy enough to say, I spent about 1k on my turbo, but I'd like to see one. Noone is running one of these? Claimed garret internals but I'd bet it's some sort of chinese mitsu truck turbo....

yeah, if you really search, there are a few threads about these specific turboes..... i cant say from experience, but i can say from what other people have posted about their experiences...... the turboes are absolute crap! the wastegates work fine (i have a 50mm on my car right now, and know numerous people running thier wastegates w/ no problems, nor have i heard of any being faulty)... and their bov's suck... i purchased 2 hks knock offs, and they are junk, and will be replaced w/ 2 real turboxs rfl bovs

It's not just the internals that matter either. The way the turbine/compressor housings are machined have a huge effect on the turbo's efficiency. I've seen some cheaply made Chinese turbos, and you could measure the turbo clearances with a ruler.

Good for him, sounds like he deserved the blown motor. It also sounds like he owns the right car. Who modifies a grand prix ?
