Gonna buy a 60-1, Help!
I am at the turbonetics site and i have decided on this
HC-TURBO 60-1 Hi-Fi TURBO ASSY. BIG SHAFT - BALL BRG. 1,493.00
but a bunch of options are available

It is for a street application 10-14 psi mostly with the occasional few higher runs, I am looking for around 350 - 400 for the wheels, that being said which options should I go with? O or P trim? I was thinking .96 a/r but I don't know about the rest of it. I was looking at the hks standard manifold and hks standard wastegate (14.2psi spring) to go along with it. I don't know what to do, but I gotta decide quick before dad finds out

Seems that most people get the P trim turbine. What kind of manifold are you going to run? divided or non divided? ( I don't know what the "standard hks" manifold is.) If you get a divided manifold I'd deff get a divided tang/divided turbine housing to match it. If you get a collected (non divided) manifold I'd get a regular tang/undivided turbine housing.
If you want to run as low 10psi you need a spring that will be at or lower then 10psi. The 14.2 psi one won't allow you to run any lower than 14.2 psi before the wastegate starts to open.

I have a T60-1 Garrett turbo...For starters I woudln't mess with the ball bearing turbos....I had one and it was off more than it was on. My spindles keep'd warping and the wheels hitting the housings....ugly! anyway,
I got a .70 compressor w/ 1.00 A/R turbine. It puts out 400-475 depending on boost etc. I would recommend this turbo to anyone. Its great at the track and still streetable....
I would consider the 1.15 A/R if I were to do it again but for auto x the 1.00 works great..... Also the HKS manifolds are superior in quality. I have the tangential divided model... Keep us informed on what you decide....

i've got a Garret 60-1 P trim .55 front a/r and 1.32 rear a/r with a divided housing. i dont have in installed yet so I don't know what type of power i'll be putting down but so far everyone seems to think it will be a good turbo for my car. At first I though 1.32 would be too large but my motor is streetported so I think it will be ok.

Rotarys (while prone to blow up) amaze me with the amount of exhaust energy they produce. Us Supra guys usually stick to the .7 A/R exhaust... if you're feeling really bad-*** you get a .81 (or .96 if you're racing with nitrous).

My motor is street ported and the 1.00 spools pretty fast....full boost around 34-3600rpms @ 18-20psi....Its not the fastest spool I've seen but it happens so fast I don't have time to care, because I usually looking at guages.....Its nerv-racking

you got that right, but I have 6 hard years on this motor and I want to see how much abuse it will take, because its days gotta be numbered....hope I'm wrong 
1.32 A/R ...thats pretty big. My friend has that on his 3 rotor....I'm not much of a drag racer but when that kicks in you better hold on...let us know how it runs...cool?

I bought the 60-1 Big shaft turbo P trim from turbonetics.com for $1100, and 40mm 5.9psi hks wastegate and hks manifold, oh and a kaaz lsd

What should I do for oil lines?
I actually used the stock top oil feed line and tweeked it in place of the T60-1. The flange pattern was the same and it was easy to do, so why not! The bottom dump I went to a Diesel repair joint here in MPLS and found one to fit the bottom turbo flange. Then I bought some somewhat bendable braid'd line going back to the motor. I did have to cut the little "S" tube on the dump side because it got kinda tight....
I didn't get a coolant turbo. I'm pretty patient on letting it cool down etc. No problems as of yet anyway...besides if the bearings go bad any rebuild shop will do that turbo for 200.00 and less why should I care?
