Going T78 any words of wisdom

Well looks like my twins got me a bit sooner then I expected. And I am way shy of the funds for the ASpec 3540 kit I wanted , but I can afford the t78 kit . I will be using a PFC w/ 550 primarys and 1600 secondaries. My street port should get me in the mid 400's .I know I need a fuel system( FPR, custom fuel rail)

I know the T78 is thought of a a bit old school, but it gets the job done .If you have a pic of your set up please post it .Thanks

Just be prepared for your car to be down for a while.

Just FYI and before you buy anything give Bi State Customs a call they have tons of different kits out for less than almost anyone.

Mine is almost finished, its up and running, but I'm waiting on the Pettit Cool Charge III IC thats been shipped.

I'll post pics and dyno results once its done.

T78 maybe old school, but you're right about getting the job done!

My street porting is a little more aggressive than average, so the motor does the overlap twist at idle.

Rep......Rep.....Rep....Rep.... Sorry, got carried away.

It smooths out nicely above 3K though.

I wanted the Power FC, but settled for the EFI PMS for now. My engine builder knows the parameters with this set up already, so it will work fine. He used a similar set up in his car, same Greddy T78 kit, to make 620 RWHP with a race port.

I'm just hoping for 400+.
