Gobble noise
How does some turbo's make that gobble noise. It almost sounds like its coming from the BOV?. I here them most on a external wastegate's turbo's. Does it depend on the rate of the spring? or type of turbo?

Mine only does it during the Thanksgiving holidays!
I think you are talking about turbo surge at light thottle. Mine will do it if I slightly get on boost at medium revs then ease off the throttle some. This is usually in 2nd through 4th gear.

That is called compressor surge, ad it is (or so they say) bad for turbos in the long run. It is due to your BOV spring being too tight and not allowing a full vent on shifts. You want your BOV spring to be just tight enough that this does not occur.
