chking for exhaust leaks at the turbo mount to manifold at idle on ,y FD and noticed the glowing section before the turbo on what is the outlet of the rear exhaust port.....is that weird???

The rear housing of the turbo is glowing at idle? Something is deff wrong if the rear housing of your turbo is glowing red. Are your coolant/oil lines hooked up and not blocked or something? Is the turbo new, rebuilt, a hand me down? Take off the downpipe see if you have a white-ish film on the inside of the downpipe. If its white its super lean maybe firing order mixed up, injectors hooked up wrong. Deff have someone look at it, that is not suppost to happen at idle.

 

Check the plugs, coils, and wires. The mixture is still burning when the exhaust port is opening.

Check the compression of the engine.
