Outstanding and wonderful to see you've also tested yours. What kinda power level was this run at? and i'll add it to my 13b draggy tracker. Ooo was it a pump fuel run? or E85?

Probably at around ~330rwhp on 94oct pump gas.

Your OEM+ stock port runs the 100-200kph faster than my stock E92 M3 V8 manual by around 1.5s. If reliable, consistent and repeatable that's good enough to hang with a stage 2 E92 M3, which do 9.5 to 9.8s 100-200kph. I have feeling you can still eek out a good few tenths on your dragy runs. Well done and thanks for sharing.

It'll probably run faster in colder temps ... I'll try again after it drops down to mid teens celsius.

where did you find the OEM data? looks like a very significant jump between the earlier 255 hp and the latest 280 hp!

You were right to call it out. The OEM reference is not dragy verified and I've updated to reflect the source.

Keeping it authentic with a Genuine Mazda RX7 FD3S water pump replacement. Turning up the rotary love as the old one did an admiral job for nearly 30 years! Confirmed the seals failed on the old one...well they were starting to fail.

Spur-of-the-moment decision during the RX7 downtime and upgraded to the Link G4X ECU! Time to unleash all the power the mighty G35-1050 can offer! 19 new inputs (over my previous G4+ which is still an epic modern ecu), lightning-fast performance, and a whole new level of control.

Time for a fresh tune-up! With the new Link G4X ECU in place.

Can have it all now, not just the safety but able to run all the additional sensors which the G4+ couldn't.

Emap, Rolling Launch, Boost by gear and time to say the least!

Looking forward to the ECU swap soon. I've been told the Ignition coil plugs will need swapping over compared to previous G4+ as these direct fire coils on the G4x use different ignition switch inputs. The rest I've been told is meant to be plug and play. Really pleased with the 19 additional inputs.

Do you connect to the oem wheel speed sensors or use aftermarket ones?
Do you have a clutch switch on yours?
Just wondering if you also run boost by gear, flat shift and rolling launch?

Yh me too. I've gonna make one more tweak by taking Omar's (raceonly) advice and adding a dump valve to the down pipe.

Weather's getting colder, which means Boost season is on the way. I had to take advantage of the slightly colder conditions so I turned up boost to 22psi (1.5 bar) and here's the kicker – the tune is not at its full potential (yet).

I used 14.5psi as the new baseline to compare and see if the results were worthwhile. Did not test 100-200kph yet but ran some quicker preliminary custom dragy tests from 50-90mph, 60-90mph and 60-80mph. This was to quickly test some super safe tunes and if they worked. The Aim is to push up to 26psi (1.8bar) or wherever the G35-1050 stops giving dragy improvements.

The goal is to see if the turbo can deliver the juice and get 50-90mph below 3s and 60-90 below 2s.

All or most members of the UK RX7 Tribe WhatsApp group will know this! (For those not part of the group) Today, we embark on an exhilarating new journey, ushering in a new era for our passionate community.

I'm thrilled to introduce the Official RX7 Tribe 100-200kph Dragy Verified Leaderboard, and what's even more exciting is that we've already witnessed some phenomenal results. Here's the kicker - this is just the beginning! As we move forward, I invite you all to join in the conversation within the group chat, where we'll continuously update the Leaderboard with more jaw-dropping achievements. Together, we'll push the boundaries of what's possible and inspire one another to reach new heights! This helps us build and learn from tested and verified setups.

The rank is determined by 100-200kph numbers and the power figures are there as a guide confirmed by the owners.

The K series engine should not be in this spreadsheet. Any fool can whack a k20 in any car and make power. This should be kept as a rotary leaderboard only so we truly have fair comparisons.

Looks to me like the owner of that car has failed with rotaries and taken the baby route.

Yes sir, would be great to see your builds on the leaderboard!

You can dm me on here or on insta. You need to submit the valid 100-200kph dragy report along with the below information. Anyone slotting into the top 3 (Podium) on the leaderboard, we need the dragy overlay video of the 100-200kph run alongside the valid dragy report.

Owner -
Model - RX7 Generation
Gearbox -
Modifications - Turbo make and spec, Boost (psi) used, Engine - porting
Bhp/HP/PS - Approx Flywheel power required.
Fuel - Pump 93-99 ron, E85, Meth etc...
Aux Injection - water, 50/50, full meth

My build is some ways off from being finalized and running, but I'd be interested in adding my results as well whenever it's done.

Would you accept stats if they came from reliable software other than dragy? I'd likely be using internal motec logging by way of a gps feed to track speeds/elevation/etc.

Hey, thanks for your interest. If you plan to use Motec logging via GPS for personal tracking or analysis, I encourage you to do so and certainly post up your results once your build is finalized. However, for the sake of maintaining consistency and ensuring the reliability of the data we accept, we can only consider results obtained from Valid Dragy measurements. Anyone slotting into the Top 3 (podium) places also needs to supply the dragy overlay video with the valid 100-200kph dragy report. As the Leader board grows, I imagine the will roll out to the Top 10.

I just picked up Dragy, I haven't had time to mess with it yet.... been working and raining too much here.
Last year I did run a 11.8@118 on 15-16psi when I went to track for some fun runs.
I wonder what that translates into the Dragy?
Also I'm now running E70 and up'ed the boost to 22psi.
Hope to have some results to share, on my EFR 8374 set-up

Steve

Hi Steve, thanks for sharing mate. Look forward to the results. Take your time and if you can also get a 60mph-130mph run if possbile. If you're using the stock FD trans, if you rev out to 8krpm in 4th you should be able to get both 100-200kph and 60mph-130mph. This will be a really good result to have.

pretty sure I had no problem getting to 200 kph (~125 mph) with 4.444 rear and under 8k with short diameter 15” tire (forgot to mention this point in the previous post, though it qualifies as “low gearing”), lost all my logs in a recent computer swap though
