Fuel system upgrade, OEM with FFE secondary?

I'm running 850's in the modified primary and 1300's in the stock secondary. This was fine for twins and would have been fine for GT35R v-band T3. Or at least I thought so years ago.

So now I want to order a FFE secondary rail, two ID2200 injectors and Fuel Lab's mini inline FPR.

I no longer have the 550's and the primary is modified, so if the 850's are an issue with the PFC I may be better off replacing the primary. Are ID700's more easily controlled with the PFC then oem 850's?

If I retain the primary, do I need the FPD or should I get rid of both sides hard lines and replace them with AN fittings. There is a banjo fitting adapter for the secondary rail but i'm not sure if the stock banjo line reaches the new rail.

I know the primary can be retained as verified by FFE but I don't know if I should and I can't find that's been done before.

Thanks XLR8 for the tips.

You should get 550cc primaries, either OEM or get EV14 550cc units if using the PFC.

550/id2000s will make 550+rwhp. I've got a good base map for this injector combo for a single turbo/PFC that I usually supply free of charge with a purchase.

If using the OEM rail/550s you should at a minimum delete the PD and weld on a AN fitting, I usually do an AN fitting for both the in/out.

^ Thank you Turblown!

The oem primary is modified for the longer 850's so i'm not sure if that would be an issue with the spray pattern. Maybe the mod was on the cover (or both), can't remember. I would have to get a used set and pay RC Eng' to clean them or buy a new set. If i'm also buying AN fittings and lines, the savings may not be worth it.

The smallest ID has is 725's. FI connection has 550's which I think are EV14's. Are the 725's ok or better to go with the 550's?

Thanks again

You would need a replacement rail. Sounds like your better off going top feed at this point. You can buy flow matches 550s from ID by request. Get the 550s...
