Fuel pulsation dampener question

Fuel pulsation dampener question
Do most of you fellas still have the pulsation dampener stuck on the primary rail? Are there fuel pressure regulators or anything of the sort that could replace the dampener or is it a weak link that cannot be eliminated?
I will soon be running ss fuel lines and don't know what to do with the thing? Do you attach the lines to the dampner and if so how?
