Flex section in downpipes?
I have a single turbo that I installed in Feb. or so and the weld at the outlet of the turbine housing has cracked all the way around its circumference. It could have been just a bad weld but it bothers me that there's no flex section in the downpipe.
I know the stock dp doesn't have one, but then again, the stock motor doesn't have 300-500hp like the single turbo setups are capable of.
I'm going to have the turbo housing rewelded and a flex section installed if I can find one large enough.
Has anyone else had problems like this?
