Fitment with OBX manifold?

I am in the middle of piecing together a single kit. I have so far a manifold, and wastegate. My question is, what is the largest Garrett turbo that will fit with the OBX. I found a great deal on a T72, but do not know if it will fit. I know alot of people use the T66, but I want to go bigger. Any help would be great. Thanks guys. I am also looking at a Turbonetics T72.

As long as it has a T04 flange you will be fine. Get an S trim. I know it may not be big enough for you but I found a T04B on ebay for $400.00 shipped. I got it and it looks to be of real good quality! I to have the OBX manifold. I just bought a 40mm Tial wastegate off ebay for $340 shipped. Can get a Spearco FMIC for $400.00.
So manifold, turbo, WG, BOV and FMIC will cost me a total of about $1500.00. I think it's a deal for name brand stuff.

What I am trying to find out, is what will fit between the strut tower, and the engine with the OBX.

.84 hotside or smaller without modification to the manifold...otherwise it'll hit the lim

I know this thread is so old but I used a 1.08 hotside with this mainfold and only had to shave a lttle off the lim

I think Guys are using a spacer with the OBX to get some clearance for larger housing sizes.

I have to get it rewelded to fit with my 1.15 divided P trim turbine.

A spacer did not work.

this is on a 91TII motor.
