Finally in the 500whp club

Just wanted to share my results and thanks everyone that helped while i was chasing why the car wasnt having the power it should have (thread: https://www.rx7club.com/single-turbo...-down-1040705/)

Car put down 524.92whp @ 21psi. I think i have a nice powerband curve and now i definately feel that the car has the power the dyno is showing. I want to thank Elliot @ Turblown, Rich Goodfella, Black_Mamba and Andy from adaptronic for their awsome help and withstanding all my lame questions.

Mind posting your setup? My goal is 500-550 RWHP.

Awesome looking car! I need to get my hands on some of those side skirts and paint my front lip to match.

Great numbers man! What was the cause for the lack of power from the first go? Also did you change the plugs heat range?

Yeah, plugs cuanged to Auto Lite AR3932X 10 heat range.

Cause of the problem wouldn't really be able to tell cause i changed ECU, made a custom manifold, put in a new clutch and fixed turbo.

But i think one of the culprit was the gas we were using (not burning like it should). VP C12 is something else (mixed with pump gas)

Congratulations. I hope instead of reading the forums you are now out enjoying the car. I have been telling people this for years, if you have a good tuner, they will have NO problem tuning an Adaptronic. That is what an AFR curve should look like! Sweeps from lean to rich very smoothly as boost increases. Ve tuning makes this a lot easier..

So can we expect some kill videos soon?

CM7. Wasn't used for tuning. Turned on afterwards injecting 100% water for some extra protection only.

Congrats! I have seen non resistor plugs do some weird stuff with stock coils/twin power (heavy break up in boost), looks like they are working good for you.

Exedy Twin Disk, handles power like its a cake. Remember that carbon clutches must warm real good before they start grabbing.

They are working just fine for me. Car pulls like a damn freight train.

I was more than twoo hours on the dyno, so the carbon clutch was warmed more than enough. I will go with compe-r this time..carbon is no torque friendly!!!

still a little rich at 10.7ar, I try and shoot for 11.5-11.6 A/R. So you still have some room for a little more power.
