if you have a aftermarket radiator you will have to have to make a custom intake for the t-78. I have a 4.5 inch k&N filter and I have trouble getting it on and off the turbo. You can take the cheap way and use dryer hose, or have you some custom aluminum piping that has a 90 degree angle. I have yet decided witch im going to choose though. the alum piping would look nice though
btw- 4.5 inch filter is not big enough for the t-78, you want as big of a filter as possible.

I wanted to change my filter too, but i don't wanna go with K&N. My local shop said they are getting in a couple Blitz 4in mesh filter for me and the owner. 93redFD, what do u mean by 4.5 in isnt big enough. The turbo fits a 4in intake. BTW I used Bltiz's SUS mesh intake when I had the twins and I loved em. Now for sale

Banned. I got OWNED!!!
I'm running the BLITZ huge 6" filter on my setup, I had to get the custom adapter from CORKSPORT that tapers down to about 4" for the mandrel bent aluminum piping that connects to the turbo inlet. It was pretty much a custom job, but well worth it!

I pretty much ruined an engine because I couldn't find a replacement filter to fit on my T78 w/FMIC and Fluidyne radiator, sigh....I have a K&N crammed in there and I've been TRYING to get a GReddy filter for three months but the local shop doesn't seem to be able to get them in.

Hi Northwest,
I'm not sure how your setup is, but I am currently using a K&N intake (Part Number from Summitracing.com KNN-RU-2510) on a T-series turbo. It has a 4 inch inner diameter for the turbo inlet, 5 3/8 inch base diameter, 4 3/8 top diameter and is only 3 1/2 inches long. It is priced at $31.69 + $7.95 for ground shipping and handling. I've attached a picture of the intake. Goodluck.

My new greddy t78 kit came with the new style Airinx filter it looks sweet. Would probably look even better in the car. It looks just like the Airnix for the stock twins only a lot bigger. It came stock with the yellow foam but I think you can get it in other colors. It is Designed really stumpy so it will work with a front mount intercooler and fat radiator.
