FD finally hit the track :-)

Hey guys...

Recently did the non-seq conversion due to loss of boost, well...after the conversion boost was the same !!!! WTF...after checking all hoses I finally found the hose going to the bottom of the intercooler with a 4-5" rip. After changing it I was hitting 14psi easily...I lowered the boost duty on the Power FC I have low setting for .80 kg/cm2 and .90km/cm2 for high.

Dicided going to the track.
1st pass @80kg/cm2 =12.62@ 108.9 mph w/ 2.04 60ft
2nd pass @.90kg/cm2= 13.42 @ 109.5 mph w/2.46 60ft
3rd pass @.90kg/cm2= 13.19 @ 108.7 mph w/2.25 60ft
4th pass @ .92kg/cm2= 12.66 @ 112.6 mph w/2.11 60ft

Last week I ran my T-II:
1st pass= broke axle ( on drag radials)
2nd pass= 13. something >> no 3rd gear...coasted
3rd pass= 11.7 @ 127mph lauching at idle and spining mad.

on the way home raced a Supra TT....beat him:-) and few minutes later I blew the transmission in 2nd gear.
Nursed it home with lots of noises and in next morning left huge puddle of tranny oil on the floor. Also menaged to crack the tranny casing !!!!! FD tranny :-(

At least the FD put a smile on my face tonight...

Hey John!
I sure don't miss breaking axles or trannies anymore!
The axle breakage can be solved but for the tranny there's no hope!
